The German Weather Service (DWD) issued an official heat warning for large parts of central and southern Germany on Monday, with temperatures expected to reach up to 38°C in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The warning applies from 11:00 to 19:00 local time, though no extreme heat alert has been declared. The DWD advised avoiding direct sun, postponing outdoor physical activity to early morning, and drinking plenty of water. Northern regions including Lower Saxony, Berlin, Brandenburg and Saxony-Anhalt were not covered by the warning.

In Israel, the meteorological service issued a red warning for extreme heat stress in the Beit She’an Valley, the Jordan Valley, northern and southern Judean Desert, the Dead Sea area and the Arava. Orange warnings were in effect for the southern Golan, eastern Lower Galilee, Hula Valley, Kinneret Valley, northeastern Negev, eastern Negev and the Eilat mountains. Monday remained hotter than normal for the season, with temperatures reaching 42°C in Eilat and 40°C in Tiberias. A slight cooling is forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, but heavy to extreme heat stress is expected to persist across most of the country.

Iran’s meteorological organization issued an orange-level warning for North Khorasan and the highlands of Golestan, forecasting scattered heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, and possible hail. Hazards include flash floods, river overflow, road disruptions and lightning. A yellow warning was in effect for the highlands of Mazandaran, Tehran, Alborz and Semnan. Strong winds and blowing dust are expected across 11 provinces through the end of the week, including Khorasan Razavi, South Khorasan, North Khorasan, Yazd, Kerman, Sistan-Baluchestan, Tehran, Semnan, Qom, Isfahan and northern Fars, reducing visibility and air quality. The Caspian Sea, Sea of Oman, Strait of Hormuz and eastern Persian Gulf are forecast to be rough.

Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecast light rain for parts of Jakarta on Monday afternoon and evening, specifically in West, East and South Jakarta. Central Jakarta, North Jakarta and the Seribu Islands were expected to remain partly cloudy to hazy. The temperature in Jakarta was predicted to reach 28°C.
