Indonesian Retailer Transmart Holds One-Day Sale with Discounts Up to 50 Percent

Transmart, the Indonesian retail chain, will hold a nationwide “Full Day Sale” on Sunday, 26 July, offering discounts of up to 50 percent on a range of products, CNN Indonesia reports. The one-day event, running from store opening until 10 p.m. local time, covers categories including daily necessities, electronics, fashion, furniture, and bicycles.

Shoppers can receive an extra 20 percent off by meeting a minimum transaction of 300,000 rupiah and paying with Allo Prime, Allo Paylater, or credit cards from Bank Mega or Bank Mega Syariah. Customers who do not yet hold these payment instruments can apply for a Bank Mega credit card instantly at in-store booths or upgrade to Allo Prime via the Allo Bank app.

Among the discounted electronics, a Polytron 1 PK air conditioner is priced at 3,559,200 rupiah, down from 5,259,000 rupiah, and includes free installation. An LG 43-inch UHD Smart TV is offered from 3,887,200 rupiah, reduced from 4,999,000 rupiah. In kitchenware, a baking dish originally priced at 99,000 rupiah is available for 39,200 rupiah after the combined discount, while a six-piece glass set drops from 160,000 rupiah to 39,200 rupiah.

The promotion limits purchases to two items per category for electronics. The sale is valid only on 26 July at all Transmart stores across Indonesia, with no indication of an extension.
